HAYS TECHNOLOGY & City of Boroondara are proud to announce a joint campaign to find their new leadership hire to come and be a part of the Boroondara leadership team as the Head of Technology Platforms. This role is focussed on technology leadership, contributing to successfully driving technology projects and playing a key role with senior technology leaders both at Boroondara and other councils.

**Your new role**
Reporting to Chief Transformation & Technology Officer (CTTO):

- The Head of Technology Platforms will drive and support the delivery and operations of council’s key enterprise core and line of business systems. You will be responsible for managing the technology platforms to ensure they continue to deliver the requirements of the business aligned to council’s technology strategies.
- Day to day responsibilities will include:

- Manage the delivery, operations and continuous improvement of councils’ core business platforms
- Lead the ongoing design and delivery of technology solutions for various projects and improvements
- Deliver to customer expectations and approved budgets
- People management and leadership
- Develop effective and collaborative relationships within council to identify improvement opportunities and deliver business outcomes
- This position also involves working with employees at all levels across council and liaising with relevant external stakeholders, including vendors and delivery partners.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in managing the technical delivery and operations of key business technology systems including ERP and CRM systems based on Oracle Cloud or other technology platforms.
- Background in architecture, design and development of integrated enterprise systems
- Understanding of and the experience with of cloud and integration platforms, DevOps and DataOps techniques.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks and improvements in a high-pressure and budget-constrained environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with others to gain consensus, and to develop and maintain trusted working relationships with the leadership team, business owners and technical experts.
- Ability to deliver continuous improvement of business systems to meet customer and business expectations in a DevOps environment, including the ability to prioritise your and your team’s work.
