**The company**

This is an exciting role to join an exciting commercial insurance team within an Australian-owned broking firm. In this role, you will support the Account Director, Account Managers, and Account Executives in managing general insurance for a portfolio of clients. You will have direct communication with clients as well as close involvement with the business Principals. You will contribute to the business growth objectives of the broking firm by developing new business and retention of an existing business, specifically in nominated accounts within the nominated Broking division.

**Key responsibilities**
- Assisting in servicing a portfolio of small sized corporate clients, through their insurance renewals and annual insurance cycle
- Support to Account Managers and Account Executives with portfolio management and development of new clients
- Assist with the development, implementation, and management of risk management and insurance programs that accurately address client needs
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining long term relationships with key decision makers
- Assisting in the processing of invoices, policy accounting information, quotations, premium calculations
- Quoting of renewals, processing all new business
- Updating of Claims Status Reports
- Support in liaising and negotiating with clients, underwriters, and claims managers

**Skills and Experience**
- Working towards Tier 1 qualification or looking to start learning
- Relevant experience in a brokerage preferred, otherwise insurance background Insurance products knowledge
- Claims processes and claims broking
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills
