Eclair at the Bay is a locally loved and fast-growing pastry shop located in the heart of Byron Bay. Known for our refined approach to European-inspired desserts, we specialise in artisan eclairs, celebration cakes, and handcrafted luxury sweets.

We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated **Shop Assistant** to join our front-of-house team **4 days per week**. If you’re passionate about customer service and have a genuine interest in quality food, we’d love to hear from you.

**What You’ll Do**
- Greet customers and create a warm, welcoming experience
- Offer guidance on our pastry selection and provide product knowledge
- Manage orders, phone enquiries, and point-of-sale transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area and uphold shop presentation standards
- Support day-to-day operations including shop opening and closing procedures

**Who You Are**
- You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in customer-facing retail or hospitality roles
- You have strong communication skills and a confident, friendly presence
- You work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- You take pride in your presentation and attention to detail
- You have a genuine interest in pastry and quality food
