About the role

The Program Manager, Building and Construction is responsible for multiple program areas, providing leadership and management of activities to staff delivering teaching programs within Service Industries and Built Environment. In addition to having accountability for delivery of quality education, positive student experiences and customer outcomes.

You will:
- lead a multi-disciplinary teaching team to achieve excellence in teaching and learning;- manage recruitment, induction, probation, ‘Your growth matters’ Workday based performance review process for staff;- lead and manage the planning, delivery, assessment and evaluation of VET programs; and- manage the day-to-day planning, scheduling, development, implementation and delivery of programs.

About you

You will possess professional knowledge and a strong understanding of regulatory and contractual requirements in the VET sector with considerable experience in effective leadership and management of staff. In addition, you will have demonstrated ability to lead the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high quality vocational education and training.

You will possess:- ability to propose and implement a range of programs / courses for future delivery;- ability to manage and monitor budgets and contribute to commercial targets; and All University positions delivering education and/or services to children must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
