**Nifty Care Services** is a Service provider providing care and support services to participants within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in their own homes.

- **Experience working with young people with autism will be highly regarded**:

- **Available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM**:

- Experience working with non-verbal young people
- Friendly, respectful, and willing to learn
- An ability to build strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders is a must

**Requirements**:

- Family Request for a Female Support Worker
- Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- Certificate 3 in Disability/Individual Support/Community or higher or 1-year equivalent experience
- NDIS Worker's Screening Check or willingness to apply
- A motor vehicle driver's license and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Compliance with the NDIS Code of Conduct
- Compliance with the Working with Children's Check
- Proof of citizenship or working visa
- First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
- Fully COVID-19 vaccinated and have received the booster shot, if eligible, or signed current medical contraindication certificate from a medical practitioner.
- A passion for working with people with a disability, with the ability to promote and foster their independence

**Key Responsibilities & Duties for Disability Support Worker**
- Provide individualised support and some personal care to our client using a supportive and positive approach
- Motivate and promote client independence
- Assist the client with their emotional, psychological, cultural and spiritual needs
- Supervise client's participation during activities
- Provide transport when required

Pay: $34.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
