Focus Disability Support Services is a disability support service with a difference. We offer a range of support services to individuals who are part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and their families.

**We are currently looking for a Support Worker that can work with our client between Wollert and Broadmeadows.**

**About the Role**:
Our client will be originally based in Wollert and then Broadmeadows, we must be able to work Monday to Friday, and will be required for 3 hours per day, this may increase in the future. Additional responsibilities include:

- Providing personal care with respect and dignity
- Domestic assistance
- Following behaivour support plans to support participants live more independently
- Social support and group participation
- Life skills development and promoting participants choice and control in their daily activities
- Transportation
- Meal Preparation

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Current First Aid Certificate and Working with Children’s Check
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care, Community and/or Experience in a similar role
- Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 and above) and access to a car.
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- To work at FCSS, the successful applicant must undergo a NDIS Workers Check and an NSW Working with Children Check. It is also a requirement under NSW Health for all disability support workers to have had their third vaccination or a medical exemption._

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

- Night shift
