**High Intensity Disability Support Worker / Registered Nurse**

**Location**: Wollert, VIC

Accessible Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled **High Intensity Disability Support Worker or Registered Nurse** to join our dedicated team. We provide person-centred care and support to participants living with complex needs under the NDIS.

**About the Role**

This position involves providing high-quality care and daily support to a participant with complex medical and personal care requirements. We are seeking someone who is reliable, experienced, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disability.

**Shift Availability**:

- Tuesdays**:7:45 am - 3:15 pm**:

- Some evenings**:3:00 pm - 9:00 pm**:

- **Saturdays and possible Sundays**

**Key Responsibilities**
- PEG feeding and nutrition support
- Bowel management and personal care
- Safe manual handling practices
- Medication administration in line with care plans
- Supporting a **non-verbal participant** using alternative communication methods
- Providing quality, empathetic support for participants with **Motor Neurone Disease (MND)**:

- Promoting independence, dignity, and safety in daily living activities

**Essential Requirements**
- **NDIS Worker Screening Check**:

- **Working With Children Check (WWCC)**:

- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Minimum **2 years’ experience** in disability support or nursing
- Demonstrated skills in **PEG feeding, bowel management, manual handling, and medication administration**

**Preferred Experience**
- Supporting participants who are **non-verbal**:

- Experience with **MND (Motor Neurone Disease)** care

Pay: $41.53 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
