**Job Description**:
**Your New Role**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Carry out software packaging and operating system imaging.
- Implement process and technical improvements including process documentation and compliance improvements.
- Participate in the development of technical procedures and user support guides.
- Investigate and coordinate the resolution of potential and actual service problems around system software.
- Install, test and advise on the correct use of new versions of system software.
- Work as part of a team to manage incidents, problems, continuous service improvement and workflows to meet deadlines.
- Develops an understanding of the customers’ environment and service requirements to enable successful delivery of the service.
- Ability to convert customer business requirements to technical solutions that meet customer business needs
- Takes ownership of issues identified. Tries to understand the problem to find optimal solution or temporary workaround. Escalates and/or gains support where necessary to resolve the problem.

**Qualifications**:
You will be an experienced Application Packager with a focus on quality, a keen interest in customer satisfaction and a thirst to learn as well as share knowledge.

Coupled with your education and/or practical experience, you will demonstrate a ‘can-do’, pro-active, approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve Leidos objectives.

Your skills in the following areas will be highly valued:
**Skills**
- A qualified practitioner with higher degree qualifications or relevant industry experience of more than 8 years.
- Time management and prioritisation skills
- Good presentation and customer facing skills
- High level knowledge in Windows registry administration, Windows process, and services
- Experience with troubleshooting Windows operating system
- Experience utilising some packaging tools, including AdminStudio, AppV Sequencer, packaging Tools
- Experience with scripting skills in PowerShell and VBScript
- Technical documentation skills, oral and written communication skills with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Self-tasking and prioritisation
