**About Us**
The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling’s largest and most diverse Directorate, managing many of the City’s important assets and services while delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects. This Directorate is responsible for the ongoing delivery of the City’s sustainability program, as well as contributing heavily to the City of Stirling’s vibrant local economy, liveable neighbourhoods and thriving communities.
**About the Position**
This position is responsible for the management and maintenance of all City trees. This includes the development and review of tree management strategies, plans and programs for Council; formulation of policy and procedure for Council; reports and recommendations to Council; and overseeing the effective and efficient delivery of operational programs and capital projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
The duties of the City Trees Coordinator will include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the development and implementation of budgets, capital projects and annual operational programs
- Develop plans, strategies and policies to improve protection and management of City Trees
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the City’s Tree Risk Matrix.
**About You**
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Environmental Management, related field or demonstrated equivalent competency
- Considerable understanding of arboricultural practices and urban forest management in built up environments
- Demonstrated senior management experience in urban tree management within government or the private sector
- Strong interpersonal, organisational skills and the ability to motivate and influence others.

This permanent full-time position is a Level 9 Inside Workforce Agreement position which attracts a salary from $123,589 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.

- A copy of Australian driving licence
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
- Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance
- The right to work in Australia
