We have an opportunity to join a new team in Client Management & Execution (CME) We are looking for passionate, driven individuals who can help deliver excellence in portfolio administration.

Client Management & Execution is a centre of Credit and Execution Excellence at NAB. We partner with our Colleagues in C&IB Coverage and Product teams to deliver products and solutions for our CIB Customers, including managing the customer portfolios, driving business growth and efficiently delivering an excellent experience for clients. CME has highly professional Portfolio and Execution specialists across Australia, UK, USA and Asia covering the broad spectrum of Corporate & Institutional businesses, delivering a wide range of financial solutions for our customers.

**We currently have an opportunity for an Analyst to join our CME Enablement team to support our Corporate & Industrials VIC portfolio with credit administration, portfolio hygiene and reporting**. The role provides an opportunity for deep exposure across a diverse portfolio of listed and large private companies. Industries including retail, agriculture, manufacturing, and technology and servicing across the breadth of the bank’s product offering.

**The role**:
Reporting to the Head Of, Client Management & Execution, this role is part of the CME Enablement team and supports the VIC Corporate portfolio, to drive superior client outcomes, by assisting with portfolio administration, reporting, portfolio hygiene and a variety of other administrative work. As a team member within CME Enablement, you will be a highly organised individual who thrives on problem solving, getting things done, attention to detail and ensuring that outcomes and deliverables are reached for both our Customers and Colleagues alike.

**The following can be provided as a general summary of the key responsibilities of this role**:

- Owning and driving the management of portfolio hygiene including management of aged ratings, unrated entities, expired limits, short term extensions, RWA hygiene, management of suspense accounts etc
- Assisting and actioning requests sent to our operations’ teams
- Providing reporting as needed and assisting with the smooth running and management of the portfolio
- Supporting the portfolio with the management of covenants, debt facilities (including invoicing of manual fees, calculating break costs and capitalising interest)
- Support the team with PPSR & company Searches, establishment of clients, facilities and securities in front end banking systems, recording of securities in order, and submitting discharge requests when required (including work associated with settlements)
- Assisting with offboarding requests
- Ensure the management of documents is adhering to policy and retention requirements, including the document repository, archival of original documents and the share drive folder
- Assist with bank guarantee swaps, issuances which includes engaging with the Guarantees team,
- To provide on the job training and coaching for team members or less experienced colleagues
- To identify opportunities for process improvements to systems and procedures;
- To solve problems and pain points as a CME Enablement team that will benefit the broader business (not just the business you are supporting);
**What you will bring**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, Engineering (or a related discipline) will be highly regarded
- Prior experience in banking as well as within an operational or servicing related role will be highly regarded
- You will be proficient with the Microsoft suite (and in particular are comfortable using excel to analyse or review data)
- Your exceptional inter-personal and communication skills, and your willingness to contribute to a team environment
- A natural curiosity for process improvements to systems and procedures as well as your willingness to contribute to a team environment and the sharing of ideas and knowledge
