**About the Role**:

- Gain exposure and experience to navigate and provide care to clients who have complex behavioural support plans
- Provide personal care activities including showering and dressing
- Assist with manual handling transfers
- Support clients accessing the community and assisting them with their unique day activities
- Domestic duties: maintaining household cleanliness and meal prepping
- Assisting clients with their physical therapy exercises
- Provide companionship to our clients within their own homes and when out in the community

**Shift Location: South East Melbourne**

**Shift Times**:Variety of weekday shifts available

**Your Requirements**:

- Recognised experience and knowledge and competencies in Disability in areas of complex behaviour management or high/complex medical needs
- Demonstrated ability to deal with unpredictable situations and behaviours
- Have a demonstrated commitment to clients using a person centred approach
- Be able to communicate clearly, and in a concise and friendly manner with the client and support network of family & carers, staff, behavioural specialists & health care professionals
- **Have a Certificate III/IV in Disability Services or Mental Health or equivalent qualification**:

- Provide four Identification documents
- Full Australian drivers license
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- A reliable car to attend shifts or transport clients
- Current Level 2 First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Reliable and Punctual
- Caring nature and ability to understand clients and their needs
