Wagga Wagga City Council are looking for a motivated Plant Operator who is experienced in plant operator duties such as tractor and mower operations to fill a permanent full-time role within our Parks and Strategic Operations team. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you

- Remuneration of $2,161.08 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $2,593.30 gross per fortnight + superannuation.

**Your new role**:
This position is responsible for effectively working as part of the Open Space, Horticulture and Tree Maintenance Teams to deliver a high level of presentation for the City’s parks, gardens, reserves, sportsgrounds, streetscapes, and roadsides.

**Duties of this position will include but are not limited to**:

- Operate Council plant and equipment with an emphasis on the presentation of the levee banks and mower and tractor operations.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Class C Driver’s Licence.
- General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
- A genuine interest in the presentation of park facilities and a focus on Work Health and Safety are essential to the role.
- In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation applicants are required to be vaccinated and provide evidence for Hepatitis B._
