Job Title: Business Financial Controller

Location: Macquarie Park, NSW

**Salary**: $600 per day (day rate contract)

Duration: 6 months (minimum)

Our Client are an energy management business with a focus on sustainable solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Financial Controller to join their team on a day rate contract basis. This role will be based in our Macquarie Park office with hybrid working 2/3 days a week. The role will report directly to the CFO of the Pacific Zone.

**Responsibilities**:

- Improve Annual recurring revenue reporting
- Work with the business to enhance the reporting to give better insights
- Assist with reconciliations and investigate anomalies and report to the Business Finance Manager
- Engage with business to drive the performance
- Prepare forecast and challenge business strategy to align to 5 plans
- Prepare business reviews for CFO & CEO
- Digital Flywheel revenue audit
- Drive digitization to avoid manual entries to the ERP
- Reward simplification (Sales bonus) improvement
- Reporting and Analysis - understand trends & drive corrective actions
- Ad hoc duties as defines by Business Finance Managers & CFO

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- CPA or CA qualification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in financial control or accounting roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in the energy sector or related industries is preferred
- Working holiday visa applicants will be considered
