Domain Lead

Excellent unique opportunity to join the CIO Technology Retail delivery tribe as” **Domain lead - Product Origination Mortgages**” as ING embarks on their Leap strategy, to build the bank of the future. The Domain Lead is a new senior role reporting into the Mortgages IT Area Lead and supports them in the design and execution of the technology strategy for ING Mortgages Tribe. Their leadership responsibilities encompass both change and run teams, overseeing complex projects with moderate to high impact. Their people leadership responsibilities encompass the Chapter Leads, and oversight of both onshore and offshore engineers within the domain.

This role is at the forefront of bridging the gap between technology and business. Fostering strong partnerships with relevant business counterparts is critical to the success the Domain Lead as they will negotiate influence and work seamlessly with business stakeholders to distil strategic commercial objectives into a comprehensive and executable technological roadmap.

**What you’ll do **
- Be the primary point of contact for stakeholders within the domain, including business units, internal teams, and external partners.
- Ensure that business activities within the Domain area comply with relevant external regulatory and/or voluntary codes and with internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure reliability, security, and performance of critical IT assets within the domain.
- Oversee system maintenance, lifecycle management, as well as incident and problem management.
- Build high performing teams with high levels of engagement and effective engineering practices.
- Manage performance of external suppliers / partners and ensure that contractors and offshore team members share in Ing’s values and way of working.

**What we’re looking for**
- Experience in retail Mortgage space, particularly in product originations preferred.
- Proven experience in banking / investment technology strategy development and execution in alignment with architecture and other IT functions.
- Demonstrated experience in leading financial services technology teams.
- Knowledge about automation of operations process, workflows will be added advantage.
- Experience in management & negotiation of large vendor commercial contracts.
- Experience with Distributed Agile Delivery (onshore/offshore).
