This role is hands-on and includes overseeing volunteers, driving sales, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming shop environment. It also includes sorting donations, merchandising, and ensuring the shop aligns with the values and mission of our organisation. Agapes Op shop is the heart of our hub and were our clients become good friends, the right person will have a heart for the homeless and to make a difference in people's lives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage daily operations of the shop, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise and support staff and volunteers - provide training, delegate tasks, and foster a positive team culture.
- Support and refer clients to the appropiate areas in the organisation, treating them all with respect.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and represent the charity in a professional and friendly manner.
- Sort, price, and display donations in an organised, respectful and appealing way.
- Monitor stock levels and rotate items regularly to maximise sales.
- Place and manage online sales
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, security, and cleanliness standards.
- Manage cash handling, EFTPOS, and end-of-day reconciliation.
- Liaise with head office regarding donation needs, manage marketing, and reporting.
- Promote community engagement and support the broader mission of the organisation.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $27.17 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
