The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing **Program Manager, Technical Acquisitions (APS6)** role in the Collect and Acquire Section of the Collection Branch.

The Program Manager, Technical Acquisitions is responsible for inspecting, locating and preserving digital files from physical carriers acquired by the National Library. The role involves quality assurance and managing the relocation of digital archives into a digital preservation system, whilst adhering to archival management practices. The role is critical to the development and enhancement of the National Library’s physical carrier collection and involves extracting data from current and historical software and hardware.

For this role, the following would be desirable:

- Qualifications or equivalent experience in digital preservation, computer systems engineering or computer science.
- Extensive experience in digital collection management and understanding of old and current technologies.
