Bayside International College (RTO No.: 45215, CRICOS Provider Code: 03630A) with campuses in Sydney, is looking for qualified and experienced trainers to deliver the following program:

- **Certificate IV in Kitchen Management**:

- **Diploma of Hospitality Management**:

- **Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management**

In this position you will play a leading role in the training activities and you will be joining a dynamic team of academics with a focus on achieving excellence in quality training delivery. Applicants are expected to have experience in the overall management of RTO learning and development activities by ensuring an effective delivery of the VET qualifications.

This position provides a great opportunity for the right person at a time of growth within the organisation. The College will provide self-development and also the opportunities to exchange with our international partner colleges. Trainers are reporting to the Academic Manager and PEO of BIC, the specific roles, responsibilities and requirement of the Trainer and Assessor are as follows.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Deliver quality training and assessment in the related hospitality course - both in the classroom//kitchen and virtual classroom (online) environments.
- Monitor and document students' attendance and course progress.
- Provide timely reports to the Lead Trainer and other stakeholders, indicating progress and risk issues relating to course and/or students.
- Coordinate with other trainers to lead the college projects and provide guidance to the students;
- Participating in validation and moderation activities;
**Skills and Experience (essential)**
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills relevant to a teaching environment.
- Able to work independently and autonomously in a classroom and commercial kitchen environment.
- Able to demonstrate vocational competence in the units delivered in the program and map your work experience to a matrix.
- Relevant and related experience in the industry and/or Training Package being delivered with a minimum of two
- three years’ experience in the capacity Facilitator & Assessor.
- Experience with local and international students from a broad range of backgrounds and nationalities
- Understand and follow The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
- Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently

**Successful Applicants must have**:

- Current qualifications in the relevant Education vocational area.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including up skilling

either
- TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills or its successor or
- TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills

AND one of the following:

- TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor or
- TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools or
- TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools
- Current industry experience.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Subcontract

**Salary**: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
