**Overview**:
**Plant Operator - Oil & Lubricants Facility (11 & 6 Month Contracts Available)**:
**Fremantle, Western Australia - Immediate Start**:

- As a Plant Operator, you'll be responsible for safely executing warehouse operations, blending, filling, and material handling activities in accordance with company standards and legislative requirements. This hands-on role requires someone who can work effectively across multiple functions while maintaining the highest safety standards in a hazardous materials environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to move and store packaged and bulk products
- Conduct blending operations following precise technical specifications
- Execute filling operations with attention to quality and safety
- Perform accurate stock-taking, picking, and inventory management
- Handle dangerous goods according to strict safety protocols
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the facility
- Use computer systems to complete daily tasks and record keeping
- Support environmental management initiatives and minimize waste

**Qualifications**:
**About you**

**Mandatory**:

- Current LF forklift license
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Experience working with hazardous materials and dangerous goods
- Demonstrated safety awareness in plant/warehouse operations
- Computer literacy and ability to use inventory management systems
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and prioritize workload
- TAFE/Industrial Training Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

**Desirable**:

- Experience in oil/lubricants or chemical manufacturing
- Training in 5S and continuous improvement methodologies
- Understanding of safety systems such as LOTO/Control of Work/TPM
- Knowledge of pumps and valves operations
- JDE Systems knowledge and experience with CHEP-Mate system
