Sidekicker is a better way for casual and temporary staffing. We have currently partnered with Australia Post to provide them with skilled Forklift Operators at their Bayswater facility.

Afternoon Shift

Pay Rate: Trainee 20+ years old - $37.18 per hour plus super

Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 1:15pm - 10:15pm

Night Shift

Pay Rate: Trainee 20+ years old - $41.24 per hour plus super

Shift Times: 10:30pm - 6:00AM

Please be advised that this role will not solely involve forklift operation, it will also involve parcel sorting and general warehouse duties.

Onboarding Process:

1. Set up your Sidekicker profile

1. Complete online assessments, including 3x Suspect Items Trainings, Police Check and Functional Assessment

2. Complete a Drug and Alcohol test at a medical clinic booked through Sidekicker

3. Complete Forklift Assessment onsite

About the Role:

- Operation of counterbalance forklift to move pallets and ULD cages

- Loading and unloading trucks and containers using a counterbalance forklift

- Manual sorting of parcels

- Loading parcels onto conveyors

- Packing ULD cages

- Use of a manual pallet jack and RF scanner

- Use of Counterbalance Forklift (loading and unloading)

About You:

- Valid LF License

- A valid police check obtained within the last 12 months

- Yellow Hi-vis vest and steel capped boots

- Excellent communications skills, written and verbal

- Ability to lift upto 20kgs on a consistent basis, and to be on your feet for the duration of the shift

- Willingness to follow all COVID-19 safety guidelines and recommendations

- Willing to undergo a full medical test including drug and alcohol testing
