**Home Instead Wollongong** is a private, non-medical provider of companionship & home care services supporting older people to live independently at home. We have a reputation in the region for providing a first class service.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, as a Business Administration Trainee you will perform a variety of Client Services, clerical and administrative duties to assist the business and to support our CAREGivers to provide quality services to clients.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- General Administrative duties; answering calls, photocopying, filing, archiving, retrieving mail and calendar management.
- Answering general queries and requests or redirecting to the appropriate person.
- Preparing documentation and packs (recruitment, client and CAREGiver packs).
- General Receptionist duties.
- Data entry; entering new CAREGivers and clients and maintaining existing records in our databases and software.
- Taking minutes and distributing appropriate communication to necessary parties.
- Working alongside Client Services department to ensure effective and efficient scheduling of client services.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must have completed Year 12 or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and in particular a first class telephone manner
- Strong organisational and computer skills, high attention to detail and demonstrated initiative.
- Reliable, punctual, professional and a solid work ethic.
- A demonstrated empathy to the needs of older people
- An outgoing personality; we're a friendly team that like to enjoy their time at work.

**Salary**: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
