**About the Role - Casual Sommelier (Summer Party Event)**

We are looking for **Casual Sommeliers** to join our team for a **one-night-only luxury event** on **Thursday, 22nd February** at **Ormond House, Melbourne**. This event is a **celebration of fine wine and hospitality**, and we require passionate and knowledgeable professionals to deliver exceptional wine service.

This opportunity may lead to **future casual roles** as we expand our event calendar prior to opening or **full-time employment** closer to the Club's opening.

**Experience Required**
- **Strong F&B background** in premium hospitality environments.
- Previous **sommelier experience or extensive wine knowledge** is essential.
- Experience in **high-end functions or events** is highly regarded.
- Must have a **valid RSA certification**.

**Skills Required**:

- Ability to **open sparkling wine professionally** (quietly, at an angle, without ripping the foil).
- **Confidently check for cork taint** and assess wine quality.
- **Strong pouring skills** with consistency across service stations.
- Ability to **accurately communicate key wine details** (Vintage, Producer, Cuvée, Region).
- **Exceptional guest interaction and customer service** skills.
