**About the OPPORTUNITY**
We have a great opportunity for a Manager - End User Services to join our Central Functions team based at Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide, reporting to the Head of DDC - Enterprise Services.

You will be responsible for driving excellence across our End User Services teams by enhancing operational efficiency, user experience, and innovation. As we embark on a journey of growth and digital transformation, you will lead from the front, mentor a high-performing team, and shape the future of IT support within our organization.
Additionally, as a member of the DDC management team, you will provide leadership to the DDC function, contributing to and executing the DDC Strategy to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- **Provide leadership, mentoring and line management for our Service Desk, Field Services, End User Computing and Asset Management Teams of up to 50 employees ensuring strong execution.**:
- **Lead the IT Support Services team** to drive service excellence, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency by establishing performance metrics and fostering a customer-first culture.
- **Oversee the Service Desk and Field Services teams** across Australia to ensure the delivery of high-quality, responsive, and efficient support services that meet business needs.
- **Oversee the management of software and hardware assets** using a configuration management tool to ensure accurate tracking, compliance, lifecycle management, and optimal resource utilization.
- **Provide leadership in End User Computing** by delivering secure, modern, and innovative solutions that enhance user experience, productivity, and business outcomes while maintaining a strong cybersecurity focus.
- **Lead and develop multi-disciplinary teams** across a multi-site environment, fostering motivation, collaboration, and a results-driven mindset to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
- **Identify and drive strategic and operational improvements** by leading change management initiatives, streamlining processes, and engaging stakeholders in continuous enhancement efforts.
- **Communicate effectively with stakeholders** at all levels both internal and external including vendors and partners through strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, building trust and alignment to drive outcomes.
- **Manage and control the DDC Support Services budget**, including OPEX and CAPEX exceeding $5M annually, ensuring cost-effective, customer-centric, and high-value service delivery.

- Expertise working in large enterprise is considered essential
- Demonstrated track-record in achieving customer satisfaction through a customer centric approach and being able to deliver on their requirements
- Demonstrated ability to resolve problems using technology
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain a Baseline Clearance
