An exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to work on a Major Government Infrastructure project

**Your new company**

A major State Government Health department based near Perth CBD, is seeking an experienced Project Officer to support a major Infrastructure project. You will be based in an office near Perth CBD, with some occasional site visits required to the project site based in the Northern suburbs. You will be engaged initially on a temporary basis for a minimum duration of 6-months, with a likelihood of further extension offered should all go well. You will be required to work full-time hours, with some flexible working arrangements offered.

**Your new role**

As the Project Officer you will be supporting the Project Director with all administration and project planning responsibilities. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

- Supporting project plans by assisting with planning, coordination and implementation of project tasks
- Manage correspondences and communications for the project timelines, ensuring stakeholders are on target for project deliverables
- Provide secretarial support to the directors, supporting with the organisation and coordination of meetings and workshops
- Collate and record all documentation for the project
- Manage payments and monitor budget spend and reports
- Provide assistance and advice for project reports, proposals and presentations

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate previous Project Support experience, ideally within a Government position. In addition, you will display:

- Previous involvement within an Infrastructure project would be advantageous
- Strong organisation skills with experience in managing and achieving project outcomes
- Advanced written communication skills with confidence in report writing and prepare briefing papers
- Excellent team player with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong problem-solving, research and analytical skills
