The Fellow will extend their existing expertise in Bayesian methodology to large statistical and econometric models under the guidance of the project investigators, who are senior researchers in the field. On the methodology front, this will involve developing new Bayesian simulation and variational inference techniques for computing generalized Bayes posteriors. On the modelling side, this will involve specifying multi-module econometric models for business and economic data, as well as copula models for high dimensional multivariate data.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Implementing new methodologies in contemporary programming languages such as Python and Matlab, and undertaking detailed empirical analyses with rigorous benchmarking.
- Collaborating effectively with project investigators across multiple universities to advance research objectives and contribute to scholarly publications.
- Disseminating research findings through workshops, masterclasses, and the creation of accessible web-based resources, while fulfilling additional faculty responsibilities as required.

**You**will**also**:
- Hold a PhD or be near completion in econometrics, statistics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Bayesian inference methods and their practical implementation.
- Possess advanced scientific programming skills in one or more contemporary languages, such as Python or Matlab.
- Exhibit proven ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining rigorous research documentation.
