To succeed in this position you will be:

- Flexible to work weekday, weekend, and night shifts (min. 21hrs per week)

- Able to use initiative
- Currently studying or willing to complete Certificate III in Individual Support
- Looking for an opportunity to build a career path in the community services and health sectors

Duties you will be required to undertake as part of your traineeship include:

- Travelling between homes to provide care and support to both aged and disability clients
- Providing companionship and support during daily tasks
- Facilitate outings and other social activities
- Performing household tasks such as menu planning, cooking and serving meals, cleaning, shopping
- Helping people to develop and maintain independence and safety including personal care and health care
- Transporting clients to and/or from appointments

Training will be completed on the job and as part of the requirements to complete the Certificate III in Individual Support.

What we are looking for:

- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Willing to commit to completing a Certificate III in Individual Support
- Driver’s licence and reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
- Willing to undertake a Police check
- Must have full COVID-19 vaccination including booster (documentation will be required)
- Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain prior to commencing employment
- Have or be willing to obtain a WWVP check (ACT) and a WWC check (NSW).
