**The Role**
The HR Transformation Branch is seeking an EL2 Director to lead the Program Reform Office Directorate. The Directorate supports the delivery of the Defence HR Transformation Strategy, as part of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program, the Defence ERP Hire to Retire Value chain, and other HR modules as guided by the Human Resources & Education and Training initiatives.

Your role will include:

- Managing the implementation of HR systems and transformation through strong governance, project, change and risk management.
- Ensuring resources are optimised by having the right people in the right roles to achieve outcomes.
- Independence and accountability to deliver strategic transformation, lead project management activities and participate in ERP Project phases, as per Defence ERP requirements.
- Partnering across the branch Directorates to ensure effective business requirements, design outcomes and the implementation of ERP transformation and sustainment activities are achieved for Defence HR systems.

**About our Team**
The primary role of the HR Transformation (HRT) Branch is to support the delivery of the One Defence People System to provide a high performing, connected and agile workforce capability. The HRT Branch administers Defence’s HR Transformation Program (HRTP) which is responsible for delivering HR and Education and Training reform projects in support a One Defence people system through the implementation of the ERP program.

The HRT Branch priorities align with Defences strategic objectives as outlined in the:

- 2024 National Defence Strategy.
- 2024-28 Defence Corporate Plan.
- 2024-25 Defence Priority Statement.
- Provide high level quality advice, input and responsive support to senior leaders.
- Building effective working relationships across Defence, Portfolio agencies and strategic partners to enable effective collaboration and communication in the delivery of key outcomes to support a One Defence People System.
- Provide strategic thinking and strong verbal and written communication skills to influence, solve problems and negotiate.
- Interpret and translate the Defence ERP requirements, the One Defence People System, and corporate information into strategy to support change management and implement business processes.
- Exercise a significant degree of people management skills to lead a high performing and cohesive team.
- Demonstrate the Defence Values and Behaviours in both word and action.
