**About the Opportunity**

With strong growth in our Distribution Centre our Perth branch is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join the team as a Warehouse Supervisor. In this role, you will bring the Hitachi brand, values, strategy and customer service promise to life through industry leading service and excellent leadership skills.

**Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will**:

- Monitor performance management, providing leadership, mentoring and guidance to the team
- Manage the day to day operation of the supply of quality parts to both external customers and internal stakeholders in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of service delivery
- Liaise with freight companies to follow up freight shortages and process claims for damaged or missing freight.
- Manage and supporting the day-to-day operations, activities and co-workers of the inbound team including rostering, breaks.
- Ensure KPIs are communicated and achieved throughout the team.
- Ensure all OH&S guidelines are followed to ensure as safe working environment

- Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
- Have a proactive response to problem resolution and delivering on customer expectations
- Display resilience, professionalism and enthusiasm to motivate the team to achieve desired business outcomes
- Maintain strong business relationships with external customers and internal stakeholders
- Have intermediate to advanced computer skills, experience with Microsoft Dynamics
- Have an understanding and experience with earthmoving / construction equipment or related industry
