**About The Role**

**tna** are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Writer in working on the creation and maintenance of product documentation to support the software and operational aspects of our food processing and packaging equipment for both internal and external clients.

The position will be based in our** Sydney **office and will report to the** Group Technical Writer.**

**Key responsibilities**

As a member of the **tna** Technical Writing Group, you will actively participate in the design, development, and implementation of:

- User documents, new and revisions to - Operator, Service and Parts & Schematics guides
- Service and support documents
- technical change notices and
- product bulletins
- Translations to various international languages, as required.

**Specific Duties**

The primary duties of this role are to:

- Support the business in the writing and/or updating existing product manuals and other related technical documentation.
- Assist with the execution and management of language translations and overall document control.
- Produce technical bulletins and release notices to support product modifications, upgrades and retrofits.

**Qualification and Experience**:

- 5 - 6 years of experience on the creation and maintenance of product documentation
- Sound knowledge of technical documentation
- Diploma or other vocational training in an engineering discipline

**Skills and Abilities**

To be considered for this position, you will possess:

- Highly refined problem solving and analytical skills.
- Able to work both independently and as a member of the Technical Writing Group.
- Familiarity with engineering concepts to be able to document tna products.
- A proven ability to get started and complete the job within the agreed timeframes.
- The ability to work on multiple projects in a concurrent work state.
- Written and verbal communication skills of a capable and high standard.
