As a Product Technical Writer at Protecht Group, you will play a key role in enabling our customers to understand and effectively use our SaaS risk management platform.

This commercially focused role is responsible for creating clear, engaging, and user-centric documentation that supports product adoption and success. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, developers, and customer-facing teams to produce high-quality content, including user guides, data flow diagrams, and user journey documentation.

Based in our Sydney office, you'll help shape the voice of our product and ensure a consistent, intuitive experience for our users.

You are an experienced Tehnical Writer who genuinely loves what you do with experience in the risk, B2B and/or SaaS space. You are passionate and will be the product champion. This role will suit those who are strategic and commercially focused and a deep understanding SaaS products software product management.

You'll be a great fit if you can show:

  • Proven experience in a product role writing user-focused documentation for SaaS web-based products
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience in creating visual documentation such as flowcharts, diagrams and wireframes
  • Experience working in an agile product environment with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Exposure to working with a mix of onshore and offshore development and UX teams
  • Understanding of risk and compliance and/or business continuity, crisis management and incident management would be highly regarded
  • Previous experience in B2B SaaS environment
  • Problem solving skills - the ability to think outside the box with a desire to learn and improve
  • You are a real people person, and can influence and work with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency with documentation tools (Confluence, JIRA) and diagramming tools (Lucid chart, Miro or Visio)
  • Outstanding proactive communication and stakeholder management experience
  • You are a self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced and changing environment but want to have fun and a laugh too
