**About the Position**

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, motivated and customer focused individual to join Cockburn ARC’s Operations team as Operations Supervisor. This position will assist in the delivery of a wide range of recreation activities and manage lifeguard services to ensure an exceptional customer experience at Cockburn ARC.

We are looking for an exceptional Supervisor to support our lifeguard team, setting them up for success in their day-to-day operations. You will be cool under pressure with the ability to take the lead role in responding to major emergencies.

With a strong background in frontline staff management, you will be providing on the job training, coaching and managing team performance, whilst supporting the aquatics department to be the best across everything we do.

You will be the first escalation point for the aquatics team, liaising with members and customers to provide outstanding customer experiences. You will also liaise with the Operations Team Leader, and other supervisors to ensure policies and procedures are consistent and effective across the organisation.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Exceptional people leadership skills including developing high performing teams, providing mentoring and coaching to support a positive team culture.
- Proven ability to work and perform in a high paced, active environment.
- Energetic and vibrant approach
- Current qualifications in RLSS Pool Lifeguard, Pool Operations Group 1 Certificate of Competency, LIWA Accreditation and Provide First Aid.

**Hours**: The role is full time (38 hours per week). Availability to work a 7-day rotating roster including early, evening and weekend shifts is essential.

**Salary**: $78,894- $84,150 depending on skills and experience, plus weekend penalties, 5 weeks annual leave and superannuation up to 15%.
