**About the Position**

We are looking for an exceptional **Sports Supervisor** to support our front-line team across the Sports Stadium, setting them up for success in their day-to-day operations. This position will be critical in overseeing the continued success of our social sports programs, and junior clinics.

With a strong sports background including innovative programming experience, you will be providing on the job training, coaching and managing team performance, whilst driving the Sports team to strive for high achievement across all programs we deliver.

You will be savvy with sports software systems and customer relationship management, troubleshooting staff concerns and looking at better ways to connect with our stadium patrons.

You will be the first escalation point for the Sports team, liaising with patrons and customers to provide outstanding customer experience, driving retention and recruitment for teams/participants in our programs.

You will also liaise with the Sports Team Leader, other Supervisors and the Leadership team to ensure alignment with strategy, policies and procedures are consistent and effective across the organisation.

As the Sports Supervisor, you will have:

- Completed (or close to completing) a diploma level qualification in sport and recreation with relevant work experience

The preferred applicant will have a background in sports programming delivery and customer service and a passion for positively impacting the community in ensuring sport at the ARC is the best offering it can be and reflects the community’s needs.

You will be comfortable engaging with people, having difficult conversations to reach the right outcome and troubleshooting staff and patron concerns. Knowledge of sports officiating and training officials is strongly desirable.

**Salary**: $73,837 - $78,843 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, plus superannuation up to 14.5% and Cockburn ARC facility membership.

**Days/Hours**: The role is full time, with flexibility required to work multiple evening shifts over weekdays for evening social sports. Weekends may be required on rare occasions.
