HammondCare provides care primarily through hospitals, residential care homes and home-based care as well as services for dementia support, community palliative care, rehabilitation, positive aging and older persons’ mental health.

**About the role**

The HammondCare Foundation is the gateway for donors, philanthropists, corporates, trusts & foundations to partner with the impactful work of HammondCare who are shaping the sector for Aged Care, ensuring quality of life for those in need.

Reporting into the GM, Strategy, Transformation & Impact and is part of the leadership team of the Strategic Delivery Office at HammondCare. This role has high visibility and due to the strategic focus of the Foundation, will have regular, direct engagement with the HammondCare Leadership Team, the CEO and the Board, primarily through the Foundation Sub-Committee.

This exciting phase of the growth of the Foundation will provide the right person the opportunity to shape the strategy of the Foundation, review the team structure and lead and develop the small team, leverage data and a maturing CRM to focus the teams’ efforts, all the while keeping one eye on short and medium term targets which are central to delivering on HammondCare’s ambition to set the global standard for relationship based care for people with complex needs.

The HammondCare Foundation is a key enabler for HammondCare to keep serving and caring for those who are hard to reach, underserviced, excluded from services or extremely vulnerable.

**About You**
- Substantial knowledge and understanding of the fundraising landscape particularly large trusts & foundations
- Strong leadership experience and a willingness to lead my example, coaching mentoring and uplifting capability across the team
- Experience in setting KPI’s, with the ability to demonstrate measurable impact and outcomes
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience in engaging and managing relationships with senior level stakeholders, including CEO’s and boards
- Ability to distil complex ideas and volumes of content into simple, clear messages and concise summaries
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent experience
