**About the Role**

Our business has grown exponentially over recent years and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time **Retail Assistant** to join our team.

Working closely with the Area Retail Manager, you will contribute to the overall running of our stores, including:

- Managing the ‘customer experience’ for our retail clients, ensuring the highest standard of service and the seamless coordination of the in-store sales process
- Maintaining high standards of store presentation and assisting with inventory management
- Performing water analysis using state-of-the-art testing equipment
- Advising customers on pool chemistry and prescribing chemicals required to correct water balance
- Assisting customers with purchases of pool and spa chemicals, equipment and parts

Success in this role will be based on your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both customers and team members, and to provide trusted advice and solutions.

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in retail sales and customer service
- Engaging people skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- A positive attitude and a passion for retail sales within a team environment
- Physical fitness, as regular heavy lifting is involved (up to 20kg)

Some knowledge of pool and spa maintenance is desirable, but not essential, as full on-the-job training will be provided.

As we are open 7 days, availability to work weekends is essential. While we're flexible with shifts, the ideal roster for this role is Tuesday to Saturday.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
- Quarterly bonus
