**Maintenance Supervisor**
**(Construction)**

**About the role**:
Supervise staff and contractors’ in the construction department and co-ordinate through to completion all construction maintenance works to VRTP standards.

**Duties**:

- Ensure that all construction, buildings and theming within attractions are maintained and repaired to the highest standards
- Manage and plan construction projects, upgrades and shutdowns
- Assist in the management of the construction department expenditure and be responsible for purchase requisition raising and purchase order receipting
- Manage the physical and CMMS completion of construction department defect and planned maintenance work orders
- Oversee and supervise inspections and maintenance of buildings and theming within attractions
- Review, maintain and be responsible for the stock control and inventory of the construction department
- Responsible for budget control, shift roster and job costing of all capital and maintenance works
- Manage and co-ordinate Park Presentation team members where responsibilities include resource planning, training, mentoring, recruitment, performance management and conducting performance reviews
- Set service standards and monitor the delivery of appropriate training to team members that will enable them to fulfil their role

**Skills and Experience**:

- Self-organisation, problem solving & time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, delegation & guidance
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task & meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of effective rostering and labour management.
- Knowledge of SAP & Maximo
- A current QLD building licence is advantageous
- A current certificate 3 in carpentry trade as a minimum is essential.
- Construction white card essential
- Forklift, Yellow card and elevated work platform over 11 metres essential
