**Behaviour Support Practitioner**
Our client is hiring a talented individual to join our growing Behaviour Support team.
The Behaviour Support Practitioner works with participants to improve their overall quality of life. Using evidence-based assessments and functional behaviour analysis, you will develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans and strategies. Our goal is positive change through Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour principles in various settings.
You will work with participants, families, allied health providers, and supports to ensure a cohesive approach and successful outcomes. You will receive the highest level of training and support to ensure effective outcomes that are aligned with National Disability Services Standards.
**About the role**:
- Conducting intake and functional assessments with stakeholders.
- Developing compliant Positive Behaviour Support Plans, risk assessments, and environmental changes.
- Communicating support strategies to families and workers.
- Assessing behaviours and recommending strategies.
- Delivering training to individuals and teams.
- Providing advice on challenging behaviour and legislative requirements.
**About you**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, Education, or relevant allied health qualification.
- Ideally 2 years' experience in Health, Disability, or Community Sector.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and evaluation skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to learn and compassionate nature.
- Ideally valid driver's license, blue card, criminal history check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, right to work, and Australian Federal Police check.
