Location: Community-based role | Company: Ability Action Australia

Ability Action Australia is growing — and we're looking for our next Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP) to join our incredible team, supporting NDIS participants across the Ipswich region.

What You'll Do

Role

As a BSP, you'll work with adults and children in community settings, supporting them and those around them to live more empowered lives. Your role will involve:

  • Conducting person-centred assessments and planning with NDIS participants, families and carers
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based, positive behaviour support (PBS) plans
  • Promoting the elimination of restrictive practices through education and practical strategies
  • Working collaboratively to build capacity in families, carers, and support networks
  • Acting as a role model for best-practice service delivery
  • Being part of a multidisciplinary team with a shared mission to make a difference
