**Inventory Controller**

Our client is a multinational world leading freight forwarding and logistics service provider. It provides personalized SCM/Logistics solutions aligned with the varying needs of companies based on its own integrated Supply Chain & Logistics solution. Depending on the customers’ needs, various solution combinations are offered which ensures a steady information exchange among the solutions and connections within the systems. As Inventory controller you will oversee inventory and supply chain management at warehouse located in Bankstown.

Duties
- Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
- Respond to sales inquiries and purchase orders; collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for shipment
- Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Track rates of accuracy, purchase and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisions
- Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management
- Nurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service as needed

Preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in an Inventory Controller position
- Tertiary education in business or relevant discipline will be regarded highly
- Knowledge of WMS and a high level of understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Experience in generating, planning and delivering continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations
- Must be able to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders and build effective relationships
- Excellent attention to detail

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
