Are you a HSE Coordinator looking to take the next step in your career? My client is a mid-tier contractor seeking a dedicated and driven Junior HSE Coordinator to join their leading company based between Sydney and the Central Coast.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the implementation of site safety plans by actively leading on safety and environmental requirements.
- Assist the team in identifying skills gaps and provide appropriate training or recruitment to enhance our workforce's safety capabilities.
- Assess subcontractor systems of work, monitor performance, and collaborate with them to improve safety outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and safety audits, and assist in the development of safety reports.
- Stay updated with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement in HSE practices.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of HSE administration/coordinator experience working for a Tier 1 head contractor.
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations within the civil construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to assess subcontractor systems of work and drive improvement initiatives.
- Proven track record in implementing safety plans and managing HSE requirements effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field will be highly regarded.
