We have an exciting opportunity for an **HSE Coordinator **to join our team. This role will require travelling to few sites across Richmond, Holsworthy and Randwick

**The Role**

The HSE Coordinator is responsible for managing the development, implementation and continuous improvement of BGIS Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) to:

- Provide BGIS HSE expertise and ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations
- Maintain WHS, environmental and client system compliance e.g. WHS AS/NZS 4801, OHSAS 18001 and AS/NZS ISO 14001
- Update website content on HSE processes, procedures and records
- Manage internal HSE audits, Project WHS inspections, safety investigations and incident reporting
- Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly HSE reporting
- Provide training and technical support as required.

**Skills and Experience**
- Certificate IV in WHS
- 1+ years’ experience in an HSE Coordinator role or similar, and 3+ years in a construction, property management, facility management or trades role
- Working knowledge of HSE management systems and standards including AS/NZS 4801 and AS/NZS ISO 14001
- Proven experience conducting safety inspections
- Ability to write reports, review safety documentation e.g. SWMS and safety plans, and issue work permits e.g. work at heights, hot works and confined space permits
- Able to respond quickly to change and adopt an innovative and collaborative approach to safety management.
