Permanent full time position for an experienced Service Technician

This Australian-owned company specialises in engineering cutting-edge water filtration solutions for the commercial, industrial, and healthcare sectors. They are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join their team in Hobart.

**Your new role**

As a Service Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of water filtration systems across various sectors. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the health and safety of our clients’ facilities.

Responsibilities will also include:

- Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and servicing of water filtration equipment
- Ensure timely maintenance to prevent equipment failure and minimise disruptions.
- Keep detailed records for future reference and reporting purposes.
- Respond promptly to unexpected equipment failures.
- Diagnose issues and restore equipment to normal operating conditions.
- Collaborate with our team to refurbish existing water filtration plants.
- Upgrade and optimise systems to enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to extending the lifespan of equipment.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To excel in this role, you’ll need the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. An understanding of water filtration systems and equipment would be an advantage. Your excellent verbal communication skills will also extend to your written ability. Experience working as an electrician would be perfect for this role.

You will also need to have:
Attention to Detail: Precise execution of maintenance tasks and installations.
- Customer Service Orientation: Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.- Team player - work in a team environment and embrace company values
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
