About the Team

Workday Engagement Managers are key players in the team that help frame the solution delivery, partnering with our consultants to execute and manage the delivery plan and ultimately help our customers achieve rapid time to value. We are responsible for managing a portfolio of project engagements, implementation plans, status reporting, issue & risk management and developing meaningful relationships representing Workday to our customers. We’re a diverse group of people, with an invaluable mix of experience and backgrounds, located across multiple locations within the region.

About the Role

As an Engagement Manager at Workday you are more than just a Project Manager, you are a trusted advisor to our customers - you’ll engage, guide and ensure success in their implementation of Workday’s leading cloud enterprise software products.

You will empower and drive our customers' implementations by shaping the development of several key project deliverables (charter, project/staffing plans, issue logs, etc.) and work with the Customer Project Manager to resolve issues that stand in the way of project success. You will also be responsible for managing the agreed budget and delivering the project successfully and profitably.

About You

Basic Qualifications
- 5 years' of experience of project management with HCM, Payroll, Financial or Student implementations within medium enterprise, large enterprise, higher education and/or state and local governments.

Other Qualifications
- Excellent organization, time management, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Deliver projects within the budget and scope
- Previous experience with a major systems integrator and/or an enterprise software company
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services resources working on your implementations
- Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed
- Collaborate with the customer project manager to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframes
- Work with Workday Partners to ensure project compliance
- Ensure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementation
- Assist in the transition of the customer from Professional Services to Product Support
