**Job Description**:
Novotel Melbourne South Wharf is looking for a super star with commitment to creating genuine connections and peak moments for our guests. As a 24-hour operation, guests will appreciate your warm welcome in the late evenings or early mornings. If you enjoy working nights, and this works for your lifestyle, we would love to chat

As a Night Porter at our hotel, your key duties will include:

- Greet and engage with all guests and visitors as they arrive and depart the hotel
- Respond to guest requests and queries providing a knowledgeable, efficient and helpful information service.
- Assist with answering the telephone and taking messages, transferring calls or dealing with enquiries.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of guest amenities, and make recommendations and reservations for our guests for local attractions
- Ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage, mail, messages and equipment in an efficient and timely manner.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role you will:

- Have previous experience working in a hotel or similar environment
- Be a service spotter - with an eye for detail and to seek opportunities to delight our guests
- Be able to work independently with demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment
- Have exceptional communication skills
- This role is for overnight shifts (11pm to 7am), but the flexibility to work other shifts on occasion would be desirable
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in Australia. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa
