**About the role**:
The main purpose of this role is to support the Chief Data Officer and Head of Privacy & Data Ethics on the delivery and implementation of the data ethics framework. You will help the business consider the importance of data ethics principles and act as an advisor, advocate and champion.

An understanding of or interest in data privacy and the ethical impacts of technology is important in this role. Experience with OneTrust would be highly beneficial as well as an understanding of AI and Machine Learning.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Provide Data Ethics team and other stakeholders at NAB with strong research and analytical input
- Prepare and participate in compelling presentations and communications for senior stakeholders, across Technology & Enterprise Operations and the Enterprise.
- Supporting the development and delivery of implementation of data ethics strategies, programs and projects.
- Support and engage with stakeholders by providing guidance and advice on appropriate data use.
- Provide a consultancy and education service to all divisions/units on data ethics and appropriate use of data by the Enterprise, including coordinating and assessing data use cases.
- Support and assist business planning, strategy and activities, including the coordinating and maintenance of records and management reporting.
- Raise awareness on data ethics framework to the Enterprise.
- Support broader Global Privacy Office operations and consider innovative ways to help create efficiencies across broader team.
- Monitor, review and report to the board on data ethics performance and practice to identify and tackle areas for improvement. Collaborate with Privacy and peers across the Enterprise Data & Analytics function to ensure alignment

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation
- Highly analytical, excellent quantitative analysis and financial modelling skills
- Implements with speed and efficiency
- Ability to build and leverage relationships across the business
- Fosters teamwork and collaboration
- Proactively takes ownership of personal and professional development
