FULL TIME BAKER WANTED

Bonfire Bread PTY LTD trading as Bonfire Bread located at 68 Old Barrenjoey Rd, Avalon is currently seeking talented and dedicated Full Time Baker for the daily operation of our business. Shifts range from 3.00am to 5.30am starts. Above award wages paid with outstanding opportunities for career progression.

Major duties of Baker:

- Mixing, preparing, and baking bread and pastries
- Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods.
- Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
- Baking different bread types.
- Assess the quality of raw materials before baking to ensure conformance to set standards
- Monitoring oven temperature and product appearance to determine baking times
- Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety guidelines for all products and working practices, including adhering to cleaning procedures, maintaining food at the correct temperatures, correct storage of goods, safe operation of equipment, and avoidance of spills, trips, and slips.
- Inspect facilities or equipment for regulatory compliance
- Work experience: At least two years’ Experience in Baking. Applicants with sourdough experience will be looked upon favorably.
- Education/Skills: Relevant Qualifications

**Salary**: A$50,000 - A$60,000+ 10.5% Superannuation
Annual Leave: 4 weeks
Working Hours: 38 Hrs per week

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
