Warehouse Associate

Wesco Anixter have an outstanding career opportunity for highly motivated team players as a Warehouse Associate for our Tullamarine office. In this role you will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

**About the Role**

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for
- Picking, packaging and dispatching orders
- Receiving stock, purchase orders and processing delivery dockets
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Offloading and loading pallets
- Counting and checking stock to ensure quality control and solving stock discrepancies.
- Ensure safe warehouse operations, especially regarding forklift use.
- Liaise with couriers related to orders and deliveries.
- General maintenance and upkeep of the warehouseCustomer contact for orders and ETAs

- Knowledge of customer service
- Full driver’s license
- Current Forklift license is essential.
- Problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Intermediate PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Physical capabilities to lift and move heavy boxes.Previous experience in a similar role or electronic retail industry is beneficial.
