Dental Technician

An opportunity exists for a Dental Technician to provide dental technical services for eligible patients as a member of the Gympie Dental Laboratory team. Oral Health services are provided to patient groups that meet the eligibility criteria for accessing public dental services in Queensland.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Demonstrate a competent level of dental technology knowledge, expertise and skill for the fabrication, repair, and reline of dental prostheses and appliances including removeable acrylic and cobalt-chrome dentures and Valplast dentures.
- Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team; build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and other Oral Health service employees.
- Effectively and co-operatively work with, other health professionals and patients as required.
- Take accountability and responsibility for completion of dental technical services and workflow to ensure activity benchmarks are maintained under the supervision of more senior dental technicians.
