Maxima, in conjunction with the Rural City of Murray Bridge, are seeking a hands-on individual looking to kick-start their career in Civil Construction.

The Rural City of Murray Bridge is home to the mighty Murray River and covers a wide stretch of land and small towns. Only one hour from the CBD, this council area is tight knit and prides themselves on being a thriving community which is inclusive, innovative, and accountable. If successful, you too could have the opportunity to be a valued member of their team helping to make a difference

This role will see you working fulltime over the course of 3 years gaining hands-on, industry experience whilst studying towards a **Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations**. Earn while you learn, with no study debt, in this rewarding entry level apprenticeship and see yourself start a lasting civil construction career.

**Duties Include**:
- Site preparation and excavation
- Level bases and surface materials
- Concrete and bitumen work
- Lay water pipes and drainage structures
- Instal safety barriers and traffic management
- Operate plant machinery and use power tools
- Manual labouring
- Read construction blueprints

**About You**:
- Thrives on working outdoors
- Has a can-do attitude, displaying initiative
- Strong track record of being punctual, reliable, and hardworking
- Physically fit and able to move repetitively
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

**Role Requirements**:
- Current drivers’ licence, provisional or full
- Must satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment
- Previous labouring or construction-based experience (advantageous)
