The Royal Automobile Club of Australia delights members with personalised service and has been doing so from 1903 and is truly a Sydney icon. Positioned in the heart of Sydney's Circular Quay, this historic building can be found at one of the city's premier locations on Macquarie Street
**About the Role**
The Events & Membership Support Officer is an integral part of our team, responsible for performing duties associated with the provision of professional executive and administrative support to the RACA team who support over 1800 members.
Located in the heart of Sydney city, minutes’ walk from trains, busses, and ferries.
**What you will bring**
- Demonstrated administrative organisational skills including scheduling and preparation for internal and external meetings, minuting and follow up action
- Setting up new membership accounts and related administrative task
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders across the business to facilitate seamless event delivery by our operations teams
- Identify and follow-up on opportunities to maximise revenue and enhance the customer experience, where appropriate
- Contribute as a team player to manage competing deadlines and ensure team goals are achieved
- Experience in or a strong working understanding of a membership & Events database
- Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and a focus on relationship management and membership growth with the ability to maintain confidentiality and build trusted relationships
- Reporting and data entry skills

**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Formal events and communications qualification are essential
- A strong background in hospitality, private member clubs or high-end travel is essential, preferable with a thorough knowledge of the Club industry.
- The ability to construct professional, meaningful reports and budget is essential
- Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
- The ability to design creative artwork is desirable.
- Event management and basic accounting experience is desirable.
- Current Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Previous Club experience in accounts will be highly regarded
- Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and financial systems especially AR (ideally with the Northstar club software or similar).
- Ability to start immediately.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
