**Your new company**

The Asset Management team provides strategic advice on asset management plans, monitoring asset performance, developing prioritised programs of work associated with the maintenance and preservation of infrastructure assets, intervening in asset emergencies. Preparation of Strategic Asset Management Plans to identify 'whole of life' asset investment solutions, priorities and future planning needs. Developing and implementing asset monitoring programs/surveys to understand the performance of our assets; Ensuring relevant asset data registers are maintained.

The role will coordinate and develop plans that identify funding needs and priorities. Optimising the benefits by balancing the investment within programs. Reference systems; update and maintain Road Inventory system; provide support to utilise the data from the ARMIS system; presentation of the data and explain how to interpret the data.

**Your new role**

In the role of Coordinator (Road Signage and Delineation) you will investigate and respond to enquiries in regards to road signage and line marking and develop business cases to enable the sign and line marking renewal program. This position is based in the Asset Management team with a strong focus on providing technical support to design, construction and maintenance processes. Accountabilities include:

- Provide advice to support inform decision-making on a range of policy, legislative, business and related system issues relevant to road traffic signage and pavement marking.
- Research and analyse policy, legislative or systems issues, evaluate options and develop sound solutions consistent with strategic directions.
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports, briefing notes, submissions and other correspondence.
- Coordinate activities or projects to ensure the effective delivery of project and policy outcomes.
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with a network of key people internally and externally.
- Assist with the management of projects to ensure completion is timely and in accordance with the terms of reference and standards set by the relevant performance indicators.
- Take personal responsibility to deliver on agreed outcomes, model high standards of professionalism and ethical behaviour, contribute actively to branch and divisional goals, and demonstrate self-awareness and a commitment to personal development.

This position reports to the Principal Engineer (Civil).

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant industry experience in an engineering or technical environment, or an equivalent qualification.
- Current holder of Class C driver's licence.
- Required to undergo employment screening (for example a criminal history check) as part of our selection process.
- OH&S Construction Induction (white card or equivalent) will be required by the successful applicant prior to commencement of work.
