Supercheap Auto is a thriving specialty retail business, specialising in automotive parts and accessories. With a committed approach to investing in the capability and development of our team members, we are looking for a Learning and Development Manager with a keen interest in all things Automotive to join our team.
**About the role**
This role will see you leading the development of capability across the Super Cheap Auto team through the development and delivery of the Auto Experts program and targeted training initiatives. You will create value by developing learning solutions for our team members to grow their skills and knowledge in alignment with our divisional and group strategies. Whilst the role will have strategic flavour, you will be responsible for all delivery outcomes from creation to delivery and reporting with a “hands-on” approach.
- Design and develop training initiatives which support Division and align to the L&D team strategy.
- Develop content to support the Auto Experts program.
- Utilisation of our current platforms - Yarno and Articulate 360
- Identify knowledge and skills gaps within the team so training initiatives can be added or modified to uplift capability and demonstrate a positive impact on Sales and NPS.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure that training content is relevant, timely, aligned to promotional activity and strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate retail training initiatives to support knowledge development of SCA team members.
- Facilitate engaging training initiatives to support knowledge, behavioural development, and capability uplift for support office teams.
- Assess team members in training programs to determine competency
- Supporting mandatory training delivered through our COE, ensuring compliance and reporting requirements
**To be successful in this position**
- You come from a background within Learning & Development/Instructional Design/Learning Experience
- You hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or an equivalent qualification
- You are experienced in developing training initiatives across a diverse and multi-generational workforce
- You are experienced in facilitating learning and development sessions both face to face and virtually
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Experience coming from within Retail or Customer Service based industries would be highly advantageous
- Your passion for the automotive industry
